Introduction
It seems that we humans never learn from history; we tend to forget it and we repeat our mistakes. Napoleon and Hitler, the emperors; the tyrannical autocrats and kings before them; the delusional hegemons after them until our present day; the endless pursuit of absolute power continues. They all had one thing in common, along with their followers: they were believers of false gods and idols. And so, by their own will, the prophecy is destined to repeat itself again and again and again…

In English…
Why did the nations rage, and the peoples meditate on vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered together as one against the Lord and against His Christ. “Let us burst their bonds apart, and cast away their yoke from us.” He who dwells in the heavens shall laugh at them, and the Lord shall mock them. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and trouble them in His anger.
This youtube video above resonated with me because of the following part of the dialogue these two persons had
John Mearsheimer: If you are really powerful nobody fools around with you. The United States is a regional hegemon, it’s the only regional hegemon in the planet. We dominate the Western Hemisphere and what China has begun to do is translate that economic might into military might. From an American point of view this is unacceptable and we do not tolerate peer competitors. We do not want another regional hegemon on the planet. We want to remain the only regional hegemon in the world we are a ruthless great power.
Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: My advice to you is worry a lot about nuclear war… We need to stay a little bit away from each other so that we don’t have a nuclear war… Was it good to let China into the WTO I said of course it enriched all of you, it enriched the world including enriching China. That’s normal economics is not a zero sum game. China does not spend its time bemoaning America being a western hemisphere hegemon they don’t that’s not their greatest interest to bring down American power in the Western Hemisphere.
What the game theory says
The game of chicken, also known as the hawk-dove game or snowdrift game is a model of conflict for two players in game theory. The name “chicken” has its origins in a game in which two drivers drive toward each other on a collision course: one must swerve, or both may die in the crash, but if one driver swerves and the other does not, the one who swerved will be called a “chicken”, meaning a coward; this terminology is most prevalent in political science and economics. The name “hawk–dove” refers to a situation in which there is a competition for a shared resource and the contestants can choose either conciliation or conflict; this terminology is most commonly used in biology and evolutionary game theory. From a game-theoretic point of view, “chicken” and “hawk–dove” are identical. The game has also been used to describe the mutual assured destruction of nuclear warfare, especially the sort of brinkmanship involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_(game)
If you study that game formally and there is a payoff structure for it and you put as I suggest a minus infinity in the quadrant of the Hawk-Hawk then the equilibrium solution is Dove-Dove. The mixed strategy is to put zero probability on playing Hawk because when you multiply minus infinity times any positive probability you get minus infinity - Prof. Jeffrey Sachs
We can all win, if we all choose to play the role of the Dove. From my perspective, this means that Doves everywhere should unite; they should isolate the one Hawk and work together to peacefully persuade it to become a Dove as well.
